Cyborg 009: Call of Justice Added to Netflix UK

While Amazon Prime continues to expand it’s anime streaming catalogue with new simulcast streams Netflix have opted to take a slightly different approach by not only constantly offering ‘already available on home video’ anime titles but Netflix exclusive titles; in this case Cyborg 009: Call of Justice a sequel of sorts to the previously released 2013 movie released by Anime Limited onto DVD and Blu-ray. Altitude Film’s Announces Worldwide Rights to Mary and the Witch’s Flower

Relatively unknown UK-Based film company Altitude Film have recently announced that they have acquired the worldwide rights to the anime film Mary and the Witch’s Flower by Studio Ponic; with the film to be released within the UK by them later this year with Australian distribution being handled by Madman Entertainment. Azure Striker Gunvolt: The Anime Arrives on Nintendo 3DS eShop Next Week

Inti Creates have announced that an anime based upon the Nintendo 3DS game Azure Striker Gunvolt will be made available to purchase from the Nintendo 3DS eShop from the 9th February 2017 with new episodes added on a regular basis.

Each episode  (or bundle) will be pirced at  £2.49 /  €2.79 / $2.99 and will be available to purchase directly from the video section of the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Synopsis: It is the near future, and among humankind exists “Adepts,” people who possess extraordinary abilities known as “Septimal Powers.” The existence of these Adepts has caused widespread chaos around the world, but in the nation of Japan, order and peace is maintained by a large conglomerate known as the Sumeragi Group.

…However, this would prove to be a temporary peace, granted to the citizens of Japan by the sacrifice of countless Adepts at the hands of Sumeragi. On the surface, the Sumeragi Group appears be a rather normal, clean company. Below the surface, Sumeragi captures Adepts, holds them against their will, and performs inhumane scientific experiments on them.

One group known as QUILL (Quorum for Unrestricted Information, Law, and Liberty) made this discovery and pledged to revolt against the Sumeragi Group. A member of QUILL, a young man named Gunvolt, sets out one evening to infiltrate a Sumeragi facility in the name of freedom for his fellow Adepts.

The game which the anime series is based off is available to purchase directly from the Nintendo 3DS eShop; but of course while you wait for the anime series to be released you can watch a trailer for it below.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom To Receive a PC Release

Two years ago Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that it would be releasing a sequel to the PS3 Game Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch would be coming to the PS4 in the near future; well today the publisher have announced that this game, known as Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, will also be released onto the PC.
