Anime Limited Announcements from MCM London Comic Con May 2023

Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, were out in force at this weekends London MCM London Comic Con as not only did the distributor host a rather amusing Quiz on Friday afternoon, but they presented a more traditional industry panel on Saturday filled up with product updates and announcements. Naturally we attended the event, and shared the news on Twitter, but for those who missed out then here is a rundown of everything that was announced.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- To The Swordsmith Village- English Dub to Stream on Crunchyroll from 28th May 2023

Crunchyroll, in partnership with Aniplex, have recently confirmed that the English Dub version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba- To The Swordsmith Village-, which is the latest arc and currently simulcast streaming in Japanese on Crunchyroll, will be available to watch from 28th May 2023.

MVM Schedules Tsurune Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray set for September 2023 Release in the UK

MVM Entertainment have recently confirmed that they plan to release the complete series of Tsurune as a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray during September of this year. Pre-orders for this release have also begun on anime-on-line with a special early bird pre-order offer in place for a limited time.

New UK Anime Releases: 22nd May 2023

This week sees a variety of releases from Anime Limited and Crunchyroll, with highlights including Attack on Titan: Final Season – Part 2 and Looking for Magical Doremi.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Scheduled for UK Release in June

A new product listing on anime-on-line has revealed that Anime Limited will release a stand-alone Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray set of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer, an OVA series that was originally included in the Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, on 19th June 2023.

Re:Zero – Season 2, The Ancient Magus’ Bride OVA and Black Summoner Confirmed for UK Blu-Ray Release

Crunchyroll (UK) have today announced via a press release, and with listings on Amazon UK, that they will release Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World – Season 2, The Ancient Magus’ Bride – The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm – OVA and Black Summoner on Blu-Ray in the UK later this year.

PSYCHO-PASS: Providence to receive a Theatrical Release in the UK this Summer

Crunchyroll have today announced, in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, that PSYCHO-PASS: Providence, a new feature-length-film within the franchise that will bridge the gap between PSYCHO-PASS Sinners of the System Case 3: On the Other Side of Love and Hate and season 3 of the PSYCHO-PASS TV series, will receive a theatrical release in the UK on 2nd August 2023.

MCM London Comic Con this month to Host Pokémon: The First Movie Panels and Special Pokémon GO Activities

During the past few weeks the organizers of the MCM London Comic Con May 2023 event, which take place this month between 26th and 28th May 2023, have been drip feeding fans with information about activities taking place at the event on social media. Today, one such reveal was the confirmation of a 25th Anniversary Panel for Pokémon: The First Movie, which sees the original 4K!DS Voice Actors presenting a panel, has now been extended to include a screening of the film before the panel. Additionally special Pokémon GO activities will be taking place throughout the weekend.

Flying Witch Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray set for August 2023 Release in the UK

MVM Entertainment have today confirmed that they plan to release the complete series of Flying Witch as a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray during August. Pre-orders for this release have also begun on anime-on-line with a special early bird pre-order offer in place for a limited time.
