Dragon Ball FighterZ Closed Beta Dates Announced

Earlier in the month Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ, a 2.5D sprite-based fighting game based upon the Dragon Ball franchise for the Xbox One, PS4 & PC, would receive a closed beta event later this year. Well today the publisher have confirmed which dates the beta test will take place; and it is a bit more ‘restrictive’ than one would’ve first thought. Read more of this post

Krillin & Piccolo Confirmed for Dragon Ball FighterZ

It wouldn’t be a Dragon Ball game without two of the most notable characters and in a recent issue of V-Jump in Japan those characters were confirmed for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 Gameplay Shown; Introduces SSGSS Vegito & Fused Zamasu

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Story Demo Now Available for PS4 & Xbox One

One of the biggest surprises during Sony’s E3 Media Conference was news that a playable demo of Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite, which is the latest entry into the arcade fighting game that sees characters from both franchises fighting against each other, would be released onto the PS4 and this said demo is currently available to download for FREE from the PlayStation Store. Sonic Mania Release Date Confirmed for PC, Switch, XB1 & PS4

Obviously Sonic Mania is not a Japanese anime related title, and realistically it shouldn’t have a ‘news piece’ on this site; but considering that SEGA are returning to Sonic the Hedgehog’s roots, by releasing a 2D game inspired by the original SEGA MegaDrive/Genesis trilogy, and that this new release date trailer features anime styled cut-scenes inspired from Sonic the Hedgehog OVA and Sonic CD it’s worth talking about.
