Fullmetal Alchemist To Be Released on Blu-ray within the UK Next Year

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited continues to bedazzle UK anime fans with it’s slew of new license announcements and today that continues with the confirmation that they will be releasing the original Fullmetal Alchemist anime series on both Blu-ray and DVD.

The original Fullmetal Alchemist series was previously released in ‘singular’ and ‘half-season sets’ on DVD several years ago by Revelation Films but has never seen a re-release in recent times due to the distributor backing-down on anime distribution. Now, with Anime Limited, fans will be able to relive the classic series in a re-vitalised form, beit a complete series DVD or Blu-ray set.

Anime Limited’s Collectors Edition Release of Sword Art Online II – Part 1 to Include a Collectors Box

Anime Limited have today revealed through their weekly newswire update that the previously announced Sword Art Online II – Part 1 Collectors Edition Bundle, which is being released onto DVD and Blu-ray in August, will include a Collectors Box that can hold the entire series.

Kill La Kill – Part 1 Release Date Moved Forward

It’s not often we hear good news surrounding UK Anime releases but that’s about to change as All The Anime’s upcoming release of Kill La Kill – Part 1 has been moved forward by nearly a whole month.

Originally scheduled for release on the 8th December 2014 the first instalment will now be made available on the 17th November 2014 in Collectors Edition form on both DVD and Blu-ray. It’s unclear ‘why’ the date has been moved forward, or for what purpose, but it does mean we get to receive the first instalment, which contains 9 episodes, a lot sooner than originally expected.
