Bandai Namco Entertainment have recently released a new Story and Gameplay trailer for the next mainline entry into the SWORD ART ONLINE game franchise, known as SWORD ART ONLINE: LAST RECOLLECTION and, based on the new footage looks to take inspiration from both SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycrois and SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization War of Underworld.

Cinema tickets for the upcoming theatrical release of Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Scherzo of Deep Night are now available to purchase in the UK, with Cineworld, Odeon and VUE confirmed to be showing the film next month.

Crunchyroll have announced that the feature-length-film Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Scherzo of Deep Night, which is a sequel to the events within Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night (available to Stream on Crunchyroll for subscribers) and an anime adaptation of the Sword Art Online Progressive light novel, will receive a cinema release in the UK on 1st February 2023 in both subbed and dubbed formats.

Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced that the next mainline entry into the SWORD ART ONLINE console game franchise will be known as SWORD ART ONLINE: LAST RECOLLECTION and, based on the newly released announcement trailer, looks to take-place after the events of SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycrois and take inspiration from the war within SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization War of Underworld.

The Nintendo Switch version of SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris, a game which originally launched onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC in 2022, is now available physically and digitally worldwide and on the Nintendo eShop those interested in the game can download a playable demo.

Once again those who pre-ordered Anime Limited’s release of Sword Art Online Alicization: War of the Underworld Collector’s Edition Blu-Rays will be disappointed to learn that the sets have now been delayed until 24th January 2022 (Part 1) and 10th January 2022 (Part 2), that is according to updated listings on the Anime-On-Line webstore.

After a short delay FUNimation have announced that tickets for Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night, which is the feature-length film that adapts the Sword Art Online: Progressive series, are now available to pre-book / pre-order online via the official website with listings expected at VUE, Cineworld, Showcase and Empire cinemas.

Following on from speculation of a delay to Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld – Part 1 Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray earlier today, and this month, Anime Limited have now confirmed through a customer update that the product has indeed been delayed until 13th December 2021.

Those expecting to receive the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld – Part 1 this week may notice that their set has yet to be dispatched, ourselves included, and it seems the release has silently been delayed.
