Manga UK To Release Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters, Dragon Ball Super – Part 5 and RWBY Volume 4 & 5 This Year

In a rather unexpected announcement UK Anime Distributor Manga Entertainment UK have announced new additions to the Q4 2018 release schedule with the news that they will be releasing Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters, Dragon Ball Super – Part 5, RWBY Volume 4 and RWBY Volume 5 within the UK in addition to a ‘complete collection’ release of Dragon Ball GT. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take On Me Release Pushed Back To December

Late last month Manga Entertainment UK announced that the upcoming Blu-Ray and DVD Release of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Take On Me had been pushed back to the 22nd October 2018; however following on from Sentai Filmworks release date announcement for the film in North America (and MangaUK’s release schedule for the year) the UK distributor have had to delay it once again; this time to December 2018. Manga Entertainment UK Reveals Q3 & Q4 2018 Release Schedule; Announces New Digimon, Tokyo Godfathers and Pokemon Releases

Manga Entertainment UK have taken the bold step to announce the release schedule for the rest of the year; and with it unveiling new title licenses including Complete season collections of Digimon Tamers & Digimon Frontier, both of which have never received a DVD release in the UK, another Pokemon Movie Collection that consists of the XY Movies and Tokyo Godfathers on Blu-Ray. As of late Netflix UK have been the ‘focal point’ of our attention for new anime streaming additions; but after the recent Amazon Prime additions of Banana Fish and Seven Senses of the Re’Union we opted to look around to see if anything else had been added. In this case we found that four volumes of RWBY, complete season collections of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal as well as the first two seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! UK Anime publisher Manga Entertainment UK have once again taken to social media to reveal that a selection of previously announced anime content have been given updated release dates; in this case Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions: Take On Me, the feature-length-conclusion to the Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions franchise as well as Pokemon: Black & White Movie Collection have been given new release dates. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex TV Series Collection Announced for Blu-Ray and DVD Release This August

Following on from Manga Entertainment UK’s Zavvi Exclusive Deluxe Edition of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, of which we reviewed in great detail, the UK anime distributor have now announced that a standard TV series collection consisting of both Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 1st Gig and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD this August. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! The Movie: Take On Me Release Date Pushed Back


Due to unfortunate circumstances UK anime distributor Manga Entertainment UK have had to delay the upcoming Blu-Ray and DVD release of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! The Movie: Take On Me until a yet to be determined release.  As explained on social media the delay is due to the Japanese release of the film being delayed and as such has had a knock-on-effect with the UK release. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light UK Cinema Screening Officially Announced & Locations Confirmed

Earlier in the month we reported that an age rating listing had appeared for the original Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie, otherwise known as Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light, on BBFC website and we speculated that the film could be getting a limited UK cinematic release. Well Manga Entertainment UK have now officially confirmed that the film will be available in cinemas across the UK for one day only next month. Read more of this post
