Makoto Shinkai’s “Suzume” to Receive UK Cinematic Release on 14th April 2023

Crunchyroll have confirmed that Makoto Shinkai’s latest feature-length-film Suzume, otherwise known in Japan as Suzume no Tojimari, will be released in cinemas across the United Kingdom on 14th April 2023.

Crunchyroll have announced that they will release the feature-length-film Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO into cinemas worldwide during Summer 2022 with both Subtitled and Dubbed versions planned.

FUNimation Global Group Rebrands into Crunchyroll

Back in August 2021 FUNimation Global Group, which is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, announced that they had acquired the online subscription based streaming giant Crunchyroll for $1.175 billion dollars. As part of this acquisition it would see the companies be merged to become a single place for fans to enjoy a wide range of anime content from both FUNimation and Crunchyroll catalogs.
