Earlier in the week Anime Limited announced that they had licensed Aoharu x Kikanju for Simulcast on the free global streaming service Viewster; and today that trend continues with Castle Town Dandelion (also known as Jōkamachi no Dandelion)- another series which will be simulcast on Viewster for the UK.
Just like with Aoharu x Kikanju Anime Limited have licensed Castle Town Dandelion for UK and Ireland streaming on Viewster. But what exactly is Castle Town Dandelion? Well it’s a brand new show that will be part of the new simulcast season starting very shortly; but here is a synopsis of the show itself:
The Sakurada family lives normally in the middle of town, but they actually are royalty that rules over the kingdom. Furthermore, they all have special powers!Of the three boys and six girls born into such a family, the next ruler of the kingdom was to be elected by a national election. As a means to decide, multiple cameras were set up all over town, trying to televise their every move, the siblings do their best to dodge the cameras, look enthusiastic about the election, or just generally helping each other out.
Somehow, the family is still friendly to each other… but who will win out in the election!?
Simulcast details will be confirmed within the next few weeks but that aside Anime Limited have also confirmed that they have licensed Castle Town Dandelion for a home video release (most likely DVD and Blu-ray) next year.
We are also happy to confirm that we have partnered with Viewster.com to simulcast the series to the UK and Ireland. (Start date to be announced.) It will also be released on home video for the UK (TBC 2016).
So to sump-up; Castle Town Dandelion will be streamed on viewster for the UK and Ireland and then next year a home video release of the series will be distributed by Anime Limited.
