Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Receives New Details; Including Kirito Mode

With just a few months to go until Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is released onto the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have revealed some ‘exciting’ new details about including a brand new gameplay mode known as Kirito Mode.

As explained by Bandai Namco Entertainment in Kirito Mode players assume the role of Kazuto Kirigaya, alternatively known as Kirito and the main character of the Sword Art Online franchise, battling against the infamous Death Gun in the Bullet of Bullets tournament – just like the Gun Gale Online arc in Sword Art Online II. As part of this mode fans will also be able to explore the Remnant Wasteland and use powerful weapons including the hand gun, sniper rifle and sword for close range blows or attacks from afar.

In addition to the new gameplay details Bandai Namco Entertainment went on to reveal that Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will also introduce brand new original characters known as Kureha, Zeliska and Itsuki; each of which will be exclusively to the storyline found within the game.

Lastly the “Asuna’s Clothes Quest”, will allow players to collect costume recipes by earning rewards, and handing over materials to Asuna to create a custom costume not sold in the shop; as we all know that Asuna is a great cook!

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC next year.
