Kill La Kill – Box 3 Delayed Once Again; This Time it’s an Issue with the Packaging

Despite having advanced copies available to sell at this past weekends London MCM Comic Con Anime Limited have today announced, via their weekly newswire post, that the UK DVD and Blu-ray release for Kill La Kill – Box 3 will be delayed once again.

This reason for this is because early adaptors of the set have found it difficult to remove the artbook and the carded-styled-case (which holds the discs) from the thin chipboard packaging. Ironically this packaging defect has nothing to do with the Collectors Box (which holds all three parts of the set) which had previously caused delays due to not being produced in time. Whats even more confusing about this situation is that Anime Limited had no issues with the inital test mold they received from the production company, so this issue has really come by surprise.

So what will happen now? Well Anime Limited have quarantined all remaining stock, and those currently available at the production warehouse, and will offer a replacement programme for those who purchased the set at the London MCM Comic Con; with details on how to do this laid out below:

To everyone who purchased Kill la Kill Part 3 at MCM London Comic Con, May 2015 – we are going to begin a replacement scheme for the reason specified above. To apply for your replacement please email Jeremy on with the subject line “KILL LA KILL PART 3 – MCM LONDON REPLACEMENT” and it must including the following:

  1. your full name
  2. your postal address
  3. a photo of your Kill la Kill Box 3 DVD/Blu-ray.
  4. and proof of you having been at MCM London Comic Con in the form of sending us a copy of the confirmation email you will have received when you purchased your tickets online.NOTE: If you purchased your ticket(s) to the event on the day you attended and/or don’t have email confirmation, please include a picture of your ticket/pass/wristband in the photo of your Kill la Kill Box 3. Please have both the Box and you ticket/pass/wristband in clear view.(If you can’t do any of the above, email Jeremy on so we can discuss.)

VERY IMPORTANT – Deadline to apply for Kill la Kill Box 3 MCM London replacements is 9am on Monday 8th June.

In terms of when replacements will be fulfilled, we are endeavouring to get them to all applicants as soon as possible, but we are aiming for it to be before the general release of the title.

At this time Anime Limited are NOT announcing another release date; as they want to verify the final product before revealing a newrelease date; however they are hoping to have it released by the end of July.

If you purchased a copy of Kill La Kill – Box 3 from Anime Limited during the London MCM Comic Con then we strongly urge for you to get in touch.
