SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris Arrives on Nintendo Switch with Playable Demo and Expansion Pass Available on Nintendo eShop

The Nintendo Switch version of SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris, a game which originally launched onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC in 2022, is now available physically and digitally worldwide and on the Nintendo eShop those interested in the game can download a playable demo.

This demo, which comes in at a portion of the 13GB download size of the full game, will allow players to experience the prologue and part of the first chapter. Namely the ‘anime’ storyline content. We don’t currently know if progress earned in the demo can be transferred, but we do expect that this demo offers the same functionality as the previous PlayStation 4 and Xbox One trial versions of the game (details of which can be found here). Regardless if you are curious how SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris runs on the Nintendo Switch then this demo is worth checking out.

In addition to the playable demo the Nintendo eShop also has an expansion pass, of which is priced at £40.49, that grants access to the two additional premium content packs (Blooming of Matricaria and Blooming of Forget-me-not) and bonus items. This expansion pass can also be purchased as part of a Digital Deluxe Bundle for £80.99 on the Nintendo eShop which includes the base game. As a reminder the Nintendo Switch version of SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris includes the free content update packs as standard.

SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris is now available digitally and physically worldwide for the Nintendo Switch.
