Anime Limited Offers Gundam: Reconguista in G – Movie 1 Japanese Blu-Ray for Pre-Order

Continuing on the trend of offering Japanese Limited Edition releases for UK auidiences Anime Limited have today announced pre-order plans for the Japanese Limited Edition release of Gundam: Reconguista in G – Movie 1, known as Gundam: Reconguista in G – Movie 1 ‘Perfect Pack’.

Priced at £99.99, which includes shipping and import fees, fans will receive the Japanese Premium Pack Blu-Ray release of Gundam: Reconguista in G – Movie 1 of which will see the feature-length-film, which retells a portion of the Gundam: Reconguista in G TV Anime series with newly animated scenes, alongside a selection of bonus features and physical media in the form of booklets and storyboards. Exact details of this Premium Pack have not ‘exactly’ been specified but it will be presented in Japanese and English, with the 16-page booklet featuring both English and Japanese.

Gundam: Reconguista in G will be released as five movies with the this first movie, which releases early next year, offering the opening portions of the anime series in movie form. This Japanese release will be in Japanese with English subtitles and the bonus features are expected to be in Japanese only.

It is worth noting that a similiar Lmited Edition release, same contents with the exception of some art books and Story board books, is available to pre-order on Amazon Japan for around £70 (including shipping and custom fees). My guess is that this Premium Pack is exclusive to the SUNRISE/Gundam story in Japan with a standard Limited Edition being made available to order retailers. Regardless if you want a cheaper option, then it does exist.
