Rurouni Kenshin Characters Confirmed as Playable Fighters for JUMP FORCE

Bandai Namco Entertainment have confirmed that Himura Kenshin and Shishio Makoto from the iconic manga Rurouni Kenshin will be playable in the third-person-brawler JUMP FORCE when released onto the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC next year.

Unfamiliar with these characters? well Bandai Namco Entertainment have provided us with some character breakdowns:

Himura Kenshin is a wandering masterless samurai. Despite his small stature and humble nature, he once worked as an assassin for the government. After growing tired of this life filled with death, he vowed to never kill again and to make amends for his previous sins, now, fighting only to protect and defend the weak.

Shishio Makoto is one of Kenshin’s strongest foes. His entire body is covered with bandages due to gruesome burns but, despite these old wounds, he is still an extremely ruthless and dangerous enemy. Caring little for others, he will stop at nothing in order to achieve his goals.

These Rurouni Kenshin characters will join the ever-expanding-list of characters from notable franchises such as Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Naruto Shippuden and Saint Seiya in JUMP FORCE when it releases onto the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on the 15th February 2019.
