Spike Chunsoft have announced that the PlayStation VR Demo for Danganronpa, entitled Cyber Danganronpa VR: Class Trial, will be released onto the PlayStation Store from the 10th March 2017.

The demo will allow players to experience the class trial, which sees students of the school forced to provide evidence in who they think committed the murder, in Virtual Reality form. The Class Trial is a ‘major part’ of the Danganronpa videogame series, which has previously been released onto the PS Vita and PC with PS4 re-releases due later this year, and for the first time this experience will be presented in Virtual Reality form.

The Cyber Danganronpa VR Demo was previously released in Japan (with full English localisation); but it was only available for Japanese PlayStation Plus Subscribers. It’s currently unclear if a full-game based around this VR experience will be released; but it’s a nice experience for those interested.

Although Spike Chunsoft have confirmed that this demo is coming to both European and American PlayStation Stores the developer have yet to confirm whether it will be a PlayStation Plus exclusive or if it will be free for everyone to download and play.
