MVM Confirms Delays to Both Seasons of Love Live and Maid Sama Collection

Those looking forward to the upcoming Blu-ray (or DVD) Releases of Love Live – Season 1 and Love Live – Season 2 will be disappointed to hear that both titles have been delayed until later this year; with each title being delayed by at least one month.

The news comes directly from MVM Entertainment’s own online store, Anime-On-Line, which lists updated release dates for both titles. Previously Love Live – Season 1 was scheduled for release on the 18th April 2016 but it has now been shifted to the 16th May 2016; meanwhile the Second Season of Love Live, which was originally scheduled for release on the 9th May 2016, has now been moved to the 20th June 2016. This delay effects both DVD and Blu-ray versions of Love Live – Season 1 and Love Live – Season 2; both of which will feature a new English Dub provided by NIS America.

That’s not the only disappointment to be had either; as the Blu-ray release of Maid Sama – The Complete Collection, which was previously confirmed for a 28th March 2016 release, has now been moved back to the 4th April 2016. The DVD version of this set on the otherhand remains as a May 2016 release.

As usual MVM Entertainment have not provided a reason for the delays; so we can only assume it is in relation to stock arrival or issues with disc authoring.
