Anime Limited to Release Psycho-Pass 2 and Rage of Bahamut: Genesis within the UK

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have recently announced on their blog that they will be releasing Rage of Bahamut: Genesis as well as the second season of Psycho-Pass, otherwise known as Psycho-Pass 2, within the UK on DVD and Blu-ray later this year.

Both titles will be released on DVD and Blu-ray within the UK later this year with Psycho-Pass 2 being given the Collectors Edition. As you would expect further details will be revealed in the coming weeks; but for the time being you can check out each titles synopsis below.

Psycho-Pass 2: It’s been a little over a year since Inspector Akane Tsunemori chose to put her faith in the Sibyl System and keep its true nature a secret. Assigned to a new division with a few familiar faces, Akane and her team of Inspectors and Enforcers are charged with upholding the law in a society where just thinking about a crime is enough to get you locked away forever—or executed on the spot.

Just as Akane settles into her new routine, a terrorist bombing in the center of the city shakes the System to its core and launches an investigation that uncovers a network of latent criminals who claim their leader has the power to lower their crime coefficients. After Enforcers begin turning up dead with cryptic messages scrawled near their bodies, Akane starts closing in on the answers she’s looking for—completely unaware that an even deadlier threat is lurking closer than she could ever imagine.

Rage of Bahamut: Genesis: Two thousand years ago, the black-and-silver-winged dragon, Bahamut, terrorized the magical land of Mistarcia. The humans, god, and demons that inhabited the land united forces against the fiend and sealed its power into a key which was split in two, one half protected by gods and the other protected by demons. Now, Mistarcia is a peaceful realm – until a human woman steals the god’s half of the key. Based on the immensely popular digital card game, Rage of Bahamut: Genesis is an exciting blend of action and fantasy.

The first season of Psycho-Pass is currently available on DVD and Blu-ray within the UK and was distributed via Manga Entertainment UK; both seasons however were originally licensed by FUNimation Entertainment in America.
