Lagrange has been available for quite some time within America and yet its still not made it’s UK appearence; fortunately for us the Blu-ray of Season 1, or Set 1 as its known by VIZ Media, is compatible with UK players when you press the title menu button. Eitherway if you are planning on importing the Blu-ray then  here is what you can expect.

Lagrange – Season 1 sees 12 episodes, or the entire first season, spread out across two blu-ray discs and presented in High Definition with both an English and Japanese audio track available. In addition to the episode content there is also a few bonus features, such as mini-episodes and trailers for other VIZ Media produced shows. For the most part it’s business as usual, with the disc content being varied and interesting, but its the packaging design that fails to meet standards.

The front cover is nice, albeit a bit basic with a single image on the front cover, with the back cover itself being informative; but its the disc artwork which are abit boring. Both discs feature an image of the beach with nothing but the series logo and further logos for Region Info and distributors. There is no impressive artwork, with mecha or character designs, its just a beach. Basically there is nothing pretty to look at before you place the disc into the machine.

In a sense the packaging and disc artwork is the only ‘disappointing factor’ of this release; as the disc content and episodic content are all pretty entertaining and interesting to watch. Either way Lagrange – Season 1 is now available on Blu-ray and DVD within America; but you can check out the full unboxing below.
