Anime Limited Delay’s Mobile Suit Gundam 00: A Wakening of the Trailblazer Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Release

Those looking forward to the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Mobile Suit Gundam 00: A Wakening of the Trailblazer Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray will be disappointed to learn that the film has been pushed back by two weeks until 17th August 2020.

The Blu-Ray, which was announced back in June 2020, was originally planned for a 3rd August 2020 release but those who pre-ordered from Anime Limited’s store today received an email saying that the release of the product had been pushed back until the 17th August 2020. A reason for this delay is due to “a delay in the manufacturing of one of the elements of this product” as outlined in the email sent to customers below:

The reason we’re contacting you today is to make you aware there has been a change of release date for this product.

The Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Film + OVA Collector’s Edition Blu-ray set will now be released on 17th August 2020.

We sincerely apologise for this delay. This has unfortunately come about due to there being a delay in the manufacturing of one of the elements of this product, which we were informed about this week by our production house.

We expect that retail listings at other retailers, such as Amazon, Base and Zavvi, will be upadated accordingly in the next few days; but in the meantime Gundam 00 fans wanting to conclude the story will have to wait just that little bit extra to do so.
