MVM Entertainment Renews License for Haibane Renmei

MVM Entertainment have today confirmed that they have renewed their UK Distribution license for Haibane Renmei and as such the series will be re-released on DVD from the 27th June 2016.

The news of this ‘re-release’ was confirmed today on Twitter through the official MVM Twitter account as well as a link to the online product listing.

Synopsis: The Haibane, enigmatic youths with halos and flightless, grey-feathered wings, live in a sleepy town surrounded by impenetrable walls – only the crows may come and go. Reki, an older Haibane, discovers a new cocoon, from which Rakka emerges possessing no memories except that of her dream of falling. Questions of her existence cloud Rakka’s mind as she struggles to learn the ways of the Haibane and to help Reki escape the Circle of Sin.

Haibane Renmei will be released as a complete series collection, which features both English and Japanese audio options, on the 27th June 2016 on DVD within the UK.
