Anime Limited Confirms Release Date Change to Sword Art Online II – Part 1

Despite having Sword Art Online II – Part 1 (on DVD) for sale at last months MCM Comic Con Manchester Anime Limited have today confirmed that both DVD and Collectors Edition Blu-ray variations of it have been delayed.

The reason for this delay is due to an ‘unforseen circumstance’ during its production, as explained in a recent newswire; so its most likely another issue revolving around the production of the Collectors Edition box or the artbox which should house all four volumes of the series.

It’s not the first time that Sword Art Online II – Part 1 has been delayed; as it was previously due for a mid-august release but then later delayed till the 31st August 2015. Elsewhere some retailers even listed 7th September 2015 as a release date; either way Sword Art Online II – Part 1 is just one of the many titles that keeps on being pushed back.

As it stands Part 2 and Part 3 of Sword Art Online II are still on schedule for release in October and December; meanwhile Part 1 will be released on the 21st September 2015.
