All The Anime Unveils Release Dates and Prices for Their Home Video Releases in 2014

Yesterday we reported that UK distributor All the Anime had posted a list of all the titles that they plan to release during the first quarter of 2014. Well today that same anime distributor, as well as via listings on MVM’s online store, have revealed the exact dates (and prices) for some of those titles in addition to a few surprises.

The list of release dates, and prices, for All The Anime titles are as follows:

10th February 2014:

24th November 2014:

Space Dandy Collection, DVD (13 episodes, SRP £49.99)

You may notice that the DVD Release of Durarara!!! is a whole month after its Blu-ray counterpart, this is due to All The Anime sourcing materials for use on the DVD release.

Some may say that the SRP (Store Retail Price) seems quite high for majority of these releases, however when you consider that these are all “complete” box sets, as opposed to “half-season sets” released by Manga Entertainment UK, you’ll find that the price isn’t too bad. Additionally some of these releases, such as the “Ultimate Edition” of the Gurren Lagann Blu-ray, will include the Movies and OVA episodes in addition to other undisclosed extras, so its not all bad – it just might be too expensive for some.

That’s not all either, as All The Anime have also announced that they will be hosting a “Kickstarter” campaign for an anime license that wasn’t picked up anywhere within the UK or US, additionally the kickstarter campaign will be open to members of the UK and US with further information to be confirmed at a later point.

So there we have it, are there any titles listed that take your fancy? Let Us Know!

these prices, especially the Gurren Lagann ones are extortion! No way I’m going to buy a series for that price.
