Yokai Watch to be Broadcast on Cartoon Network UK in April


Yokai Watch will be broadcast on Cartoon Network UK in April the Official Yokai Watch Twitter account has revealed.

It’s currently unclear how many episodes will be shown, or how often it will be shown per week; but the English Dubbed / edited version of the show which sees a young boy collecting Yokai will be broadcast on Cartoon Network UK from the 23rd April 2016. Cartoon Network UK, which is also available in High Definition, is available on Sky and Virgin Media within the UK.

Could the Tenkai Knights anime be coming to the UK? It seems KAZE thinks so


It seems KAZE UK might know something we, or anyone else in the UK Anime Industry, doesn’t; as on the latest batch of Bleach DVD’s, which is titled Bleach – Series 15 Part 2 and due out on the 29th June 2015, there is a relatively long trailer promoting the Tenkai Knights anime series – and its the same trailer thats seen on VIZ Media Europes website. Unboxing: Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan – Set 1 and Set 2 (Blu-ray)


Seeing as we missed last week’s ‘weekly’ unboxing video we’ve decided to do two this week; and this time it will be VIZ Media’s American Blu-ray release of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan – Set 1 and Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan – Set 2; which makes up for the entirety of Season 1.

Before we ‘dive’ into the contents of each Blu-ray set the American Blu-ray release of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan Set 1 and Set 2 are compatible on UK Players; as all you need to do is press the ‘Disc Menu’ button when the Region A screen appears to divert it to the main menu – afterwhich everything acts as normal. Having never seen ‘any’ of the TV Series I took bit of a gamble in purchasing this InuYasha Movie Collection; but while the films may leave me feeling confused as to ‘whose who’ – that’s when I get round to watching it- this Blu-ray release by VIZ Media US leaves much to be desired. Manga UK Cancels Individual Blu-ray Release of Naruto Shippuden – Movie 5: Blood Prison


If you were eagerly awaiting the next ‘high definition’ instalment of the Naruto Shippuden films then unfortunately you are in for some bad news; as today Manga Entertainment UK have announced that Naruto Shippuden – Movie 5: Blood Prison will not be available as a stand-a-lone Blu-ray release in December.

The only way for Naruto fans to experience Naruto Shippuden – Movie 5: Blood Prison in High Definition is by purchasing the ‘Pentalogy’ collection, a box set which contains all five Naruto Shippuden films inside a single set. Read more of this post

Plot: The mayhem continues in Ranma 1/2!
