Netflix UK once again continues to expand its video-on-demand offerings as the subscription-based-streaming-service have now added Seraph of the End, alternatively known as Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign and Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya, to its ever growing catalogue of anime titles.

Universal Pictures UK Confirm My Hero Academia – Season 1 Release Plans

Late last month BBFC listings were discovered that revealed that Universal Pictures UK would be releasing the first season of My Hero Academia on Blu-ray and DVD. Well today Universal Pictures UK have officially confirmed that they will be releasing the series within the UK and better yet it will be getting the Limited Edition Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack treatment.

Late last year Universal Pictures Germany released Pokemon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened, otherwise known as Pokemon Der Film: Genesect und die wiedererwachte Legende, and Pokemon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, otherwise known as Pokemon Der Film: Diancie und der Kokon der Zerstörung, as two seperate Blu-ray releases within Germany and while this isn’t surprising the fact that they both feature an English Dub is surprising.

Seraph of the End: Season 1 Part 1 – A Closer Look at the Disc Content and Subtitle Options

With Universal Pictures UK making their debut as an anime distributor with the Blu-ray (and DVD) release of Seraph of the End – Season 1 Part 1 we thought it would be a good idea to dive deeper into the disc content to explore what’s in store for those that wish to purchase this impressive collectors set.

By now everyone should have a firm grasp on what to expect from the physical content, as seen in our recent unboxing article; but what exactly can one expect from the product in terms of subtitle qualities, menu layout and disc presentation? Well that’s exactly what we are going to explore in this article.

Universal Pictures to Release The Heroic Legend of Arslan on Blu-ray within the UK

Following on from the news that Universal Pictures would be releasing Seraph of Legend into the UK as a Collectors Edition Blu-ray and DVD release the entertainment distributor have now confirmed, via an article on UK Anime Network, that they will also be handling the UK release of The Heroic Legend of Arslan.

Just like with Seraph of Legend the series will be split into two half-season Collectors Edition sets with each set containing an artbook, with art and information from the original Japanese release, and other to be announced phsyical bonus content. Each set however will contain around 12-13 episodes and will be released on Blu-ray and DVD.

The first Collectors Edition set is currently scheduled for release on the 4th July 2016 with details surrounding the second half to be released in the coming months.
