Shortly after Sengoku Basra – The Last Party was released onto Blu-ray and DVD within Australia Madman Entertainment, the australian distributor for the series, released a Complete Collection package whereby Season 1, Season 2 and The Last Party film were bundled into a single set; well today i’ll be taking a quick look at it.

Plot: Toyotomi Hideyoshi is defeated, but feudal Japan isn’t safe yet. The fallen villain’s most loyal and lethal minion – Ishida Mitsunari – is obsessed with carrying on Toyotomi’s legacy of violence in the name of vengeance.

It’s widely known that “Sengoku Basara” is one of Manga Entertainment’s unpopular releases, with the first season selling poorly on both Blu-ray and DVD, which is why the company was hesitant about releasing any more. Fast forward years into the future and the final ‘movie’ instalment into the anime series, entitled Sengoku Basara: The Last Party, is now here, and better yet its available in the UK on both Blu-ray and DVD.
