MVM Entertainment Releases Revised Q1 2018 Release Schedule

Earlier in the month we published MVM Entertainment’s Q1 2018 release schedule, with dates listed from MVM Entertainment’s online store Anime-On-Line, well during the past few days MVM Entertainment have issued a revised Q1 2018 release schedule with some titles, such as Skip Beat and Monster Musume, being delayed.

With 2017 slowly coming to a close we finally begin to see what we can expect from 2018 and UK Anime Distributor MVM Entertainment have published their first quarter release scedule for 2018 onto the onlin store Anime-On-Line.

MVM Entertainment Delays Girls Und Panzer, Monster Musume, Norn9 and GATE

In some rather unexpected news MVM Entertainment have announced through social media that a selection of their upcoming releases have been delayed. Unfortunately the original post on Twitter did not mention which titles were affected; but after digging around the MVM Entertainment owned store, known as Anime-On-Line, we’ve discovered that the titles affected by this delay include DVD releases of Girls Und Panzer Der Film & Norn9 as well as the collector’s edition Blu-ray & DVD Combo Pack release of Monster Musume in addition to titles scheduled for November release such as GATE, Tenchi Muyo and Girls Und Panzer: The Real Anzio Battle.

When MVM Entertainment announced that they would be re-releasing the original Tenchi Muyo OVA Series, the series which initally made it’s UK debut on Cartoon Network UK’s Toonami anime block alongside Dragon Ball Z and Gundam Wing, on DVD and Blu-ray the entire anime community were overcome with joy; especially those who grew up watching the series on UK TV and missed out on MVM Entertainment’s previous releases of the series.

MVM Entertainment’s Q3 2017 Release Schedule Appears Online

Those with a keen eye will have noticed that Amazon UK have begun listing upcoming anime titles, specifically a selection of MVM Entertainment’s entire third quarter release schedule, with titles such as God Eater, Girls Beyond the Wasteland and Norm9 being given tentative release dates.

MVM To Release Tenchi Muyo OVA Series as a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack

Several months ago MVM Entertainment announced that they would be releasing the original Tenchi Muyo OVA series, which consists of thirteen episodes, on to Blu-ray and this weekend the UK Anime Distributor announced on social media that they plan to release the series as a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack on the 10th July 2017.

MVM Entertainment continues to provide a different type of MCM London Comic Con experience for anime fans; as with Manga UK hosting a panel to announce their new licenses, and Anime Limited opting to announce titls at their booth at regular intervals, MVM Entertainment decided (once again) to announce everything at once via social media; something which worked in MVM’s favour with their announcement of the Girls und Panzer film.

Once again MVM Entertainment opted to skip the panel and just announce their licenses through social media and as a result it saw the UK Anime Distributor announce a slew of new, and older titles, being released into the UK on both DVD and Blu-ray.

As always details are still yet to be confirmed, such as format and release window, but the following titles will be making their way to the UK in the near future.
