A Silent Voice, Black Butler, Fate/Stay Night, Garden of Words and more re-added to Netflix UK

It seems Netflix UK have been refreshing, or re-licensing, their anime content as a whole host of familiar titles have now been re-added to the streaming platform; with titles including A Silent Voice, Black Butler, Fate/Stay Night, Garden of Words and Sword Art Online.

We’ve known for awhile that Anime Limited would release Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale within the UK as a standard DVD, Standard Blu-Ray and Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray & DVD Combo Pack; but what we’ve not known is how the Collector’s Edition would be packaged and what it would contain. Well those questions have been answered as a recently published blog post has revealed what to expect.

Once again Anime Limited opted to do things differently at the MCM London Comic Con as unlike last time, which saw a wall at there booth updated with new license announcements, this time it was replaced with a list of Soundtrack CD’s coming from the anime distributor.

Animated by A-1 Pictures, with an original story written by series author Rei Kawahara, Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, otherwise known officially as Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, is, in my eyes at least, a ‘thank you’ message to the fans; and from my perspective at least that message has been received loud and clear.

Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale UK Screening Dates Confirmed

Anime Limited have today announced that the feature-length Sword Art Online movie, known as Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, will be shown in selective UK cinemas from the 19th April 2017 with the film reciving a wider-spread showing from the 21st April 2017.

In order to help promote the ‘upcoming’ worldwide cinematic release of Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, which is of course the latest anime entry into the Sword Art Online franchise, Bandai Namco Entertainment have today released  costume DLC that is based upon the outfits used in the film.

Anime Limited once-again chose to unveil their new license acquisitions at their own booth via an announcement wall; but while this may be the case the UK Anime Distributor still opted to host two panels throughout the weekend, with both panels unveiling new announcements, discussing future plans and accepting questions from the crowd.
