Gundam Seed Announced for UK Blu-Ray Release Later This Year

All The Anime, otherwise known as Anime Limited, have today announced that they will be releasing Mobile Suit Gundam Seed onto Blu-Ray later this year on the 7th December 2020, with pre-orders starting at the end of this month, and that it will first be released as an Ultimate Edition release containing the entire series and the recap movies on Blu-Ray. Anime Limited License Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn for UK Blu-Ray Release

Plot: The time is the near future. Years have passed since the 1980s, when ”Gunpla” plastic models based on the ”Mobile Suit Gundam” animation created a huge boom.

Now, a new wave is sweeping the world, in what could be called a second Gunpla boom. Its popularity is driven by ”Gunpla Battle”, in which assembled Gunpla can be controlled and made to fight. With the introduction of this revolutionary Battle System, its popularity has expanded to the point that a Gunpla Battle World Tournament is held each year.

The main character of the story, Sei Iori is a young Gunpla builder who loves Gunpla and dreams of entering the Gunpla Battle World Tournament. UK Release of Turn A Gundam Delayed Indefinitely

As part of the weekly Anime Limited newswire, and previously mentioned in a recent podcast; the UK Anime Distributor have decided to indefinitely delay the release of Turn A Gundam, a series which was previously announced for a UK DVD Release at last years October London MCM Comic Con.

The reason? Well fans have asked for a Blu-ray release and now Anime Limited are discussing with Sunrise, the japanese licsensor for the franchise, to make this happen; but obviously no guarantee’s can be made; as Andrew Partridge, President of Anime Limited, explained in the recent podcast: Read more of this post
