Samurai 7 Standard Edition Blu-Ray Scheduled for May 2023 Release in the UK

MVM Entertainment have recently confirmed that a Standard Edition Blu-Ray release of Samurai 7 will be made available on 1st May 2023, with pre-orders now available at online retailers including Amazon UK and Anime-On-Line.

New UK Anime Releases: 28th November 2022

This week sees a wide variety of releases from various different distributors with highlights including a high definition release of Samurai 7 by MVM Entertainment and new titles such as Ranking of Kings from Crunchyroll. While we do have a few releases this week it seems the releases from Anime Limited have been delayed, although we’ve not heard otherwise and the store pages still list the November release date.

Burst Angel, Samurai 7, Trinity Blood & Witchblade UK Blu-Ray Release Dates and Collector’s Editions Confirmed

Earlier in the MVM Entertainment announced that it had plans to re-release classic DVD only titles, Burst Angel, Samurai 7, Trinity Blood and Witchblade, onto Blu-Ray in the UK. Since then MVM Entertainment have clarified additional details such as release dates and collectors edition content through new listings on anime-on-line and Amazon UK.

MVM Entertainment are continuing to support a selection of their classic licenses by giving them Blu-Ray re-releases later this year, as the distributor have confirmed that they will be releasing Burst Angel, Samurai 7, Trinity Blood & Witchblade on Blu-Ray in the UK.

Flowering Heart, Record of Grancrest War & Samurai 7 Added to Netflix UK

It is the first of the month and as many Netflix subscribers may know it is when ‘big content drops’ take place and this month is no exception; as the video-on-demand streaming platform have added Flowering Heart, Record of Grancrest War and Samurai 7 to its anime related streaming line-up. This is in addition to four seasons of Teen Titans GO! which, although not anime, has some anime inspired vibes.

Plot: Samurai 7 is set in a futuristic world that has just seen the end of a massive war, many villages are being terrorized by Nobuseri bandits. The Nobuseri are no normal bandits.

They were once men, but during the war they modifed themselves with machines to become living weapons and now apprear as more machine than man. A group of villagers decide to hire samurai to protect their village. These men of valor are as skilled as they are unique.
