Animatsu and MangaUK Industry Panel Announcements from MCM London Comic Con October 2016

Animatsu and Manga Entertainment UK were once again in full swing at this past weekends MCM London Comic Con event as not only did the distributor put on a show with their own Karaoke Stage, of which seemed to be insanely busy throughout the weekend; but the UK Anime Distributors opted to announce their new titles at their own stage – as a traditional panel – as opposed to having it take place within one of the theatre’s scattered around the event. Anime Limited Panel Round-Up from MCM Manchester Comic Con July 2016

Anime Limited were out in force at this years MCM Manchester Comic Con and it is up to the el presidente of Anime Limited, Andrew Partridge, to deliver the exciting news of what the company has in store for fans in the coming months. Truthfully the announcements were pretty thin, with only two new titles being announced; but what the panel did provide was information, claraity and an insight into the world of Anime Licensing and distribution; all of which you shall see in our video of the panel.

So what exactly was discussed? Well Andrew went on to explain what you can expect from the upcoming Ultimate Edition Blu-ray release of Fullmetal Alchemist as well as reveal the contents of the much rumoured Escaflowne: Ultimate Edition. In addition to these ‘hot products’ Andrew announcement that Anime Limited would be releasing Ouran Highschool Host Club and a collection of shorts by Production I.G. onto Blu-ray at some point in the near future. Bandai Namco Jump Fiesta 2015 Announcement Round-Up

Manga UK Industry Panel Announcement Round-Up from Manchester MCM Comic Con 2014

The venue for the Manchester MCM Comic Con, formly known as MCM Expo, may be rather small compared to the one in London; but that doesn’t stop Manga Entertainment UK from coming out in force; as not only did they have a ‘respectable’ sized shop with some ‘superb’ deals but they also hosted their own industry panel with a slew of new announcements.

Most of the news shared on the industry panel were ‘re-confirmations’ of things that had been mentioned previously before; such as the release of Ghost in The Shell, Ghost in the Shell: Arise and Attack on Titan; but new announcements were made in the form of Netflix streaming exclusive Harlock and the anime adaptation of Platinum Games Bayonetta franchise; Bayonetta: Bloody Fate. Of course these were not the only announcements; as you shall find out below:
