Anime Film Festival Arrives at Picturehouse Central in London Next Month

The organisers of the Anime Film Festival have announced that Picturehouse Cinemas’s flagship cinema, Picturehouse Central in Piccadilly Circus, will play host to the event next month, specifically on 7th September 2019, with an entire day of animated cinematic masterpieces being shown including Makoto Shinkai’s Your Name and Mamoru Hosoda’s MIRAI. SyFy UK To Broadcast A Selection of MangaUK Films Throughout January and February 2017

Manga Entertainment UK continues to provide anime to the masses as following on from their cinematic showings of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F and Boruto: Naruto the Movie, along with their Sky Cinema showings of both Dragon Ball Z movies, the UK based anime distributor have now teamed up the UK SyFy Channel to broadcast a selection of their films on UK TV throughout January. Scotland Loves Animation To Go on Tour Around Scotland This Summer

Anime fans in Scotland will be interested to hear that the Anime Festival Scotland Loves Animation will be going on tour, with it bringing a variety of Anime films to various venues across Scotland.

If you do not live in Scotland, or can’t get up there, then obviously this news will be a bit of a disappointment – but its nice to see Anime films being taken seriously and used in mysterious new ways. Anyway the tour has ‘technically’ already started, as it began on the 18th April 2014, but the first film being shown isn’t until 11th May 2014 so there is still some time to book seats and arrange travel.
