Quick Look: Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day

We recently managed to spend some time with Bandai Namco Games upcoming release of Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day and two of the animated shorts, but what exactly did we discover? Well lets find out.

As we already explained in our break-down this PS3 release of Short Peace is a combination of four animated shorts and a fast paced platform game developed by Crispy’s in conjunction with Goichi Suda (Suda 51), however what you may not know is that the game is considered the fifth part of the Short Peace collection and in turn offers a complete package to the user.

A Closer Look at the Anime Content Included with Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day

It’s not often we cover games on this site, but seeing as Namco Bandai Games upcoming  PS3 release of Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day contains a combination of anime movies and games we have decided to share what we know currently know about the title, namely the basic synopsis for the four included movies and a quick overview of the gameplay.

As you may already be aware Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is collection of four animated short films and a 2.5D platforming shooter, with all five titles combining together to create an ultimate (and natural) blend of anime and gaming. The game is the main selling point, as it sees Ranko in a fast-paced platforming shooter killing demons using her violin and bow, whereby different attacks can be performed and chained together for combos and higher scores. Speed  and kill count is crucial in this game, especially if you are wanting to top the leader boards. Read more of this post
