MCM London Comic Con this month to Host Pokémon: The First Movie Panels and Special Pokémon GO Activities

During the past few weeks the organizers of the MCM London Comic Con May 2023 event, which take place this month between 26th and 28th May 2023, have been drip feeding fans with information about activities taking place at the event on social media. Today, one such reveal was the confirmation of a 25th Anniversary Panel for Pokémon: The First Movie, which sees the original 4K!DS Voice Actors presenting a panel, has now been extended to include a screening of the film before the panel. Additionally special Pokémon GO activities will be taking place throughout the weekend.

POP Max to Broadcast Pokemon Films on UK TV this week

New TV guide listings, including the online schedule, have revealed that POP Max, the sister channel to POP!, will be broadcasting a variety of different Pokemon films this week, including films such as Pokemon The Movie: Kyurem Vs the Sword of Justice and Pokemon The Movie: Ranger and the Temple of the Sea.

Dragon Ball Super “Future Trunks Arc” and Pokemon: Sun & Moon Ultra Adventures Now Available to Stream on BBC iPlayer

Earlier in the year the BBC iPlayer on-demand service began offering 46 episodes of Dragon Ball Super, which covered the entirety of the Battle of Gods, Resurrection F and Universe 6 Arcs, as well as Pokemon: Sun & Moon. Well recently the platform has added the Future Trunks Arc (Episodes 47 – 76) of Dragon Ball Super and the entirety of Pokemon: Sun & Moon Ultra Adventures.

Team Water Wins Splatoon 3 Pokemon Splastfest

To help celebrate the upcoming release of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, of which release worldwide on 18th November 2022, Nintendo hosted a special Pokemon themed Splatfest in Splatoon 3 last weekend that saw participants choose between Team Water, Team Fire and Team Grass and battle it out in Turf Wars to see which Starter Type is the best.

While POP! in the UK has just begun to broadcast the latest series of Pokémon, known as Pokémon Ultimate Journeys, Netflix UK have now added all 42 episodes of Pokémon Master Journeys (the second series of the “Journeys” arc) onto its streaming platform.

The Pokemon Company have announced that a special feature-length episode of Pokemon Journeys, known as Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles, will stream on Netflix UK from 23rd September 2022 with attendees of Pokemon World Championships on 19th August 2022 available to watch it as an exclusive premiere.

Pokemon The Movie: Secrets of the Jungle to be released on Blu-Ray in Germany with English Audio this Month

Poly Band Anime, a distributor of anime in Germany, will release the the feature-length-film Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, known as Pokémon – Der Film: Geheimnisse des Dschungels in German, on Blu-Ray with English Audio on 29th April 2022.
