CITV To Broadcast The Original Pokemon Movie Trilogy on Bank Holiday Monday


Heads-up Pokemon fans! CITV have announced that they will be broadcasting all three original Pokemon movies back-to-back on Bank Holiday Monday; starting with Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back at 10am.

As mentioned CITV will broadcast Pokemon The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back at 10am, followed by Pokemon 2000: The Power of One at 11:30am and then finally Pokemon 3: Spell of the Unown at 1:10pm. Read more of this post

Pokemon XYZ to Debut on CITV with a Special Marathon Weekend


After weeks of waiting CITV have finally confirmed that the nineteenth series of Pokemon, otherwise known as Pokemon XYZ, will receive it’s UK Broadcast debut on Saturday 9th April 2016; and to celebrate its arrival the free-to-view broadcasting channel will be having a special marathon event with two feature-length-films and three special OVA episodes being broadcast across the entire weekend.

It all starts at 9:25am on Saturday 9th April 2016; as CITV will broadcast the latest English Dubbed Pokemon film, known as Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, followed by two Pokemon: Mega-Evolution Special Episodes at 11am and 11:30am before finally reaching the UK debut of Pokemon XYZ at 12pm. CITV To Broadcast Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages This Weekend


Free-to-view UK TV Channel CITV have announced they will be hosting the UK Premire of the latest Pokemon Movie, otherwise known as Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, this weekend as part of it’s CITV Movie Club.

The film will be broadcast on the dedicated Children’s ITV Channel, otherwise known as CITV, at 9:25am on Saturday 12th December 2015 and the film itself takes place within the new Pokemon XY: Kalos Quest anime series which has recently been broadcast on the channel every week. Pokemon Movie Trilogy To Be Released on Blu-ray This December in Australia


Beyond Entertainment, The Australian Distributor for the Pokemon anime series have recently announced through social media that they will be releasing the ‘original’ Pokemon Movie trilogy, which consists of Pokemon: The First Movie, Pokemon The Movie 2000 and Pokemon 3: The Movie, on Blu-ray (and DVD) later this year. Pokemon Origins and Pokemon XY Mega-Evolution Specials To Be Broadcast on CITV This Weekend


It’s time to get your TV’s tuned-in and recorders on stand-by; as this weekend the CITV Channel (Freeview 122, Sky 621 and Freesat 602) will be hosting a Mini Pokemon marathon on both Saturday and Sunday morning.

Starting on Saturday 18th July 2015 at 8:30am the two Mega-Evolution Specials, taken from the Pokemon XY Series, will be shown back-to-back; afterwhich all four episodes of Pokemon Origins, the spin-off series which closely follows the events of the original Pokemon Red videogame, will be shown.

Meanwhile on Sunday 19th July 2015, and once again starting at 8:30am, six episodes from the second season of Pokemon XY: The Series will be shown back-to-back.

If you’ve yet to see any of these episodes, especially the Mega-Evolution and Pokemon Origin specials, then this weekend is the perfect time to watch them.
