Pokemon XY: The Series To Resume Broadcast on CITV Next Weekend

It has been awhile but UK Children’s TV Channel CITV will be resuming broadcast of the Pokémon XY TV Series, starting with the very first episode next Saturday.

Starting on Saturday 5th April 2014 at 11:35am will be the first episode of the Pokémon XY TV Series, followed by the second episode on 6th April 2014 at 11:35am, after which one episode will be shown on Saturday’s and Sunday’s at the same time each weekend.

To celebrate the occasion CITV will be re-showing the 16th Pokémon Movie (Pokémon Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened) on the 5th April 2014 at 10:05am, so if you have yet to see the latest Pokémon movie then this may be your final ‘broadcasting’ chance.

As always CITV is a ‘free-to-view’ channel, meaning you can view it on Freeview (72), Sky (621) and Freesat (602) without having a subscription.

CITV to Re-Air Pokemon Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened This Week, Available Now via ITV Player

For those who missed the ‘early morning’ show of Pokémon Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened, then don’t worry as CITV will be showing it again later this week.

According to the Sky+ Planner (and TheRadioTimes TV Guide) Pokémon movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened will be broadcast at 4:30pm on the 25th October 2013 on the CITV Channel (Sky 621, Freeivew 72), yet again as part of the CITV Film Club.

For those unwilling to wait the film is now available to watch ‘on demand’ via the ITV Player, and will currently be available for the next 29 days (if not longer due to the film being re-aired again later this week).

The Pokémon XY episodes, which were also shown this weekend, are also available to watch on the ITV Player, however the remaining episodes of the Pokémon XY Anime series will be shown on CITV until next year.

According to a press release published on BulbaNews the UK free-to-view TV Channel “CITV” will be broadcasting the latest Pokémon movie on the same day as the US Cartoon Network channel broadcasts it, furthermore the two episodes from the Pokémon XY TV Series will be shown over the same weekend with the remaining XY episodes being shown next year.
