Unboxing: Sword Art Online II – Parts 1 to 4 (Collectors Edition Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) [UK]


Throughout the past few months Anime Limited, also known as All The Anime, have been releasing Sword Art Online II in progressive manner and with all four parts now available within the UK market I thought it would be a good idea to unbox them and highlight just exactly what you will get inside.

For those unfamiliar Sword Art Online II is the sequel to Sword Art Online, which was released by Manga Entertainment UK onto Blu-ray and DVD, and sees Kirito once again within a virtual reality game trying to uncover the mysteries surrounding players dying within the game. This UK release of Sword Art Online II, which was handled via ANime Limited, saw the series released in four seperate parts each of which were available as a Collectors Edition combo pack, which is what i will be unboxing, and standard edition DVD; furthermore each Collectors Edition release not only came packaged inside a unique chipboard box but it also saw a variety of information packed neatly inside a booklet. Plot: The Kingdom of En is one of the strongest of all the Twelve Kingdoms. It was there that Youko was given the strength to become queen, and Rakushun was given a chance to fit in.

But now, the hand of war closes over En as a noble young official calls for rebellion. Lord Atsuyu kidnaps Enki, with the help of the enigmatic young man named Koya who was raised by Youma.

As the only human in all of the Twelve Kingdoms who can command Youma, he holds power equal to a Kirin. Enki sympathizes with Atsuyu’s ideals, and agrees to help him. But the standoff with King En turns deadly as the rebellion’s true nature is revealed!

Anime Limited’s Kill La Kill – Part 3 to Include a Collectors Box


Anime Limited have today revealed that those purchasing to first-print-run of Kill La Kill – Part 3, which is expected to be released on the 25th May 2015 on both DVD and Blu-ray, will receive a Collectors Box that will fit the entire series in.

The idea is that all three collectors edition parts of Kill La Kill will fit inside this Collectors Box to offer the illusion that it is a complete series set rather than individual parts; a feat which Manga UK recently attempted with Attack on Titan but ultimately failed due to product information and thin materials. Plot: As they enter the final stages of the great King of the Hill battle, Ryuko must face Uzu Sanageyama again after defeating the other three members of the Elite Four. But the combat is brought to a sudden halt when a mysterious girl clad in a gothic Lolita outfit and an eye patch suddenly appears. Her name is Nui Harime, and she claims to have killed Ryuko’s father, Dr. Matoi! Overcome by uncontrollable rage, Ryuko goes berserk and turns into a monster. Only Mako is able to knock some sense back into Ryuko, but not before Senketsu is cut into pieces by Nui.

Meanwhile, Satsuki and the Elite Four commence their Tri-City Schools Raid Trip, a large-scale invasion of the regions yet to be conquered: Kobe, Kyoto, and Osaka. Ryuko learns that Senketsu’s pieces were being used in this campaign to test the new Goku uniforms. Now, Ryuko rides into a new battlefield to make Senketsu whole once again!
