Manga UK Announces DVD, Blu-Ray and Steelbook Blu-Ray Release of ONE PIECE: STAMPEDE

Following on from its limited cinematic release earlier this year UK anime distributor Manga Entertainment UK have today announced that ONE PIECE: STAMPEDE, the latest feature-length ONE PIECE film that acts as a celebration of the franchise, will be released on the 8th June 2020 on on DVD, Blu-Ray and Steelbook Blu-Ray within the UK. Crunchyroll Expands ONE PIECE Streaming Availability to include UK and Europe

Crunchyroll and TOEI Animation have teamed up to expand the streaming availability for One Piece within Europe; which means that as of today (once updated) One Piece will be available to stream legally in the UK. It’s not all good news though as currently only One Piece: WANO KUNI will be available to stream in the UK along with brand new episodes; but more is planned in the near future. Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of a franchise is no easy feat, and with One Piece: Stampede the celebration is shared with fans by offering a feature-length-animated-feature that brings the best of what One Piece has to offer within a single film. To some, this is a joyus occasion filled with crisp animation, intense fights and an amazing number of familiar faces; but to some – and me included – it brings a sense of disappointment with its overly simple storyline and sense of unfamiliarity.
