One Piece: Burning Blood DLC Plans Revealed

One Piece: Burning Blood To Receive Three New Characters

Late last month Bandai Namco Entertainment allowed the public to vote on which characters they would like to appear within One Piece: Burning Blood and with the voting now closed the results are in.

Rob Lucci, Caesar Clown and Monkey D Garp will be the characters added to Spike Chunsoft’s 3D Arena styled brawler and all three will be released in the coming weeks as paid DLC Content. It’s currently unclear if they will be released together or in stages but we do know that each character will cost money.

Further details surrounding each character will be revealed in due time; but for the time being One Piece: Burning Blood is now available for the Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita.

It’s becoming a common tradition to see Bandai Namco Entertainment publish a One Piece game on a yearly basis and while the previous game, One Piece: Unlimited World Red, offered an independent storyline with a new cast of characters in an RPG styled environment this latest instalment, known as One Piece: Burning Blood, attempts to offer a brand new experience with it’s arcade style fighting mechanics.

Does this make One Piece: Burning Blood a game worthy of your time? Well that all depends if you liked J-Stars Victory VS+ as thats pretty much what this game is.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Reveal London MCM Comic Con May 2016 Plans

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have recently confirmed that they will be attending the upcoming London MCM Comic Con event, which takes place between the 27th May 2016 and 29th May 2016 at the ExCeL Centre in London, and they will be bringing a lot of games for attendees to try out; including One Piece: Burning Blood and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. One Piece: Burning Blood Demo Released Alongside New Trailer

With the release of One Piece: Burning Blood drawning ever closer publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have decided to treat fans by releasing a playable demo of the game onto the PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

In this demo players can choose one of four characters, namely Ace, Luffy, Franky and Aokiji, and duke it out on the Dressrosa Corrida Colosseum stage. with an AI opponent or with a friend through local multiplayer fights. Unlike past One Piece games ‘Burning Blood’ is a fighting game that sees up to three characters available to battle on each side and plays out in a similar fashion to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm and Saint Seiya: Brave Soldier fights. Each character has their own health and special ability bar and characters can be swapped out at will – additionally in order to win the match all three opponents have to be defeated. One Piece: Burning Blood Release Date & Pre-Order Bonus Confirmed

It only feels like last-week that Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled the next One Piece video game and yet today the Publisher-come-Distributor have announced that One Piece: Burning Blood will be released on the 3rd June 2016 for the Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and PC.

To coincicde with this confirmation Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe have also revealed the bonuses players will receive when pre-ordering the game from selective retailers; a decision which came about through a series of public voting on the official One Piece videogame website.
