Viewster Expands Anime Content with Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Oreimo and Much More


If you’ve been looking for some ‘free’ legal anime then Viewster is probably worth checking out, as in the past few weeks the US Based streaming site have begun to show a variety of anime titles including the ever popular Monogatari franchise (Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari) and the comical Oreimo.

This is ‘in addition’ to the limited anime content that they had previously, such as Dance in the Vampire Bund, Strike Witches Season 2 and Ouran Highschool Host Club. All of the Anime is available in Japanese with English subtitles, or in English (where available), but more importantly they are free to watch and do not requrie a subscription (although adverts do appear at regular intervals).

As it currently stands Viewstar has sixteen different anime titles to stream from, with more being added in the coming weeks; so if you are looking for English Dubbed anime then viewster is definately worth checking out. Alternatively if you are looking for ‘new’ anime then their are also a variety of other services to choose from, such as Animax UK, Crunchyroll and Wakanim.

When Danger Comes Knocking, Family Is The Answer.

Koyomi Araragi has solved yet another supernatural case, but while Karen is finally rid of her curse, his other sister is about to get diagnosed with a severe supernatural ailment; a problem that is going to attract far more attention than just that of Koyomi.

Trouble is brewing, as two mysterious girls have been asking questions about the Araragi household, and are showing a curious knowledge of Koyomi and his sister’s condition. It soon becomes clear that these girls are in fact supernatural hunters of immortal beings, and they’re looking directly at Koyomi’s family.

Presenting the final episodes of the Nisemonogatari series, another chapter in this masterwork of stylistic anime, in which Koyomi Araragi will meet his match.

Our View:

Nisemonogatari – Part 2 is the final instalment into the “Nisemonogatari” chapter of the Monogatari franchise, whereby main protagonist Koyomi Araragi continues to deal with all kinds of super natural spirits while in the process making new friends. In this second instalment Koyomi must uncover the secrets surrounding his younger sister, Tsukihi Araragi, who is currently believed to be possessed by the Phoenix spirit, while at the same time protect her from mysterious newcomers who plan to abolish all types of supernatural beings, including himself. Last week MVM Entertainment announced that they have acquried the rights to distribute both Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari on Blu-ray and DVD within the UK.
