LET’S PLAY: Yokai Watch Demo (3DS)

Last week Nintendo of Europe released a playable demo of the Yokai Watch onto the Nintendo 3DS eShop and as the game is such a ‘turning point’ for Anime and Nintendo fans so I thought it be a good idea to play the first 15 minutes of the demo to highlight what it has to offer.

In this playable demo of Yokai Watch players will find themselves taking control of Nathan Adams, and his Yokai Sidekick Whisper, as they explore a limited area of the town and help people in need who are suffering from Yokai affected troubles. The challenge here is to find and defeat three different Yokai placed around the map, two of which can be spotted on the map straight away while another can only be found once talking to people in the town. Pokken Tournament Confirmed for Wii U Release Next Year

Nintendo have confirmed that the fighting game spin-off of the Pokemon franchise, known as Pokken Tournament, will be making its way to the Wii U early next year; and more importantly is that it will receive a worlwide release.

It’s an announcement everyone expected Nintendo to make at some point; and yet its still surprising to see the game getting a worldwide release so quickly – especially seeing as the game itself was only released into Japanese Arcades earlier this year. Read more of this post

Playable Demo of Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden Released onto Nintendo 3DS eShop

Despite not being released into the UK and Europe for another two months distributor Bandai Namco Entertainment have today released a playable demo for the upcoming Arc System Works developed fighting game; Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden.

Featuring 2D Sprites and classic ‘old-skool’ fighting mechanics this playable demo of Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden will offer a fair example of what you can expect from the game when its released onto the Nintendo 3DS later this year. The demo itself features four characters; namely Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and Majin Buu, and two gameplay modes – Battle Mode and Versus Mode. Read more of this post
