Game Review: Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy (Switch)

It has been less ten years since the first Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm game was released onto the PlayStation 3, and it’s been less than a year since the Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm trilogy received the enhanced re-release onto current-generation-consoles; but now the ‘Ultimate Ninja Storm’ trilogy arrives on the Nintendo Switch.

Is this a smart move from Bandai Namco Entertainment? The answer is yes, and not just from the amount of story content but because it is a solid port that retains everything you could want from the experience.

Following on from rumours earlier this week, and confirmation in Japanese magazine outlets, European publisher Bandai Namco Entertainmenthave today announced that the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy collection will be coming to the Nintendo Switch within Europe next month.

In case you missed it during all of the MCM London Comic Con excitement games publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have released physical versions of One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy within Europe for the PlayStation 4.

Earlier in the year Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that they would be releasing the ‘entire’ main Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, excluding Revolution & Generations, as a re-mastered complete package; and during the course of the past week the release date details for these collections have been confirmed.

Exciting times lie ahead for Naruto fans as Bandai Namco Entertainment have not only announced a ‘brand new entry’ into the Naruto franchise, known as Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, but the original Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm trilogy will be re-mastered for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
