Animatsu & Manga Entertainment’s Q3 Release Schedule Revealed


With the MCM London Comc Con just a month away it is around this time we begin to see ‘yet-to-be-announced’ products appear online for pre-order so that they can be available for the expo weekend; but to prevent this UK Anime Distributors Animatsu Entertainment & Manga Entertainment UK have opted to announce these products beforehand which results in their ‘current’ Q3 release schedule available for pre-order and as you’d expect a few surprises have appeared. DVD Review: Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 1

After several delays and an upgrade to Blu-ray the first instalment to Mirai Nikki: Future Diary, otherwise known as The Future Diary, has finally arrived in the UK; but was it worth the wait? and more importantly how does this latest KAZE release fair? Find out in our DVD Review.

Synopsis:

Reality quickly unravels for antisocial Yukiteru when Deus Ex Machina calls him into a death match to determine the new god of space and time. Each mentally scarred player possesses a prophetic device tuned to his or her personality disorder, giving them control over their future… and the fate of their opponents. It’s their strongest weapon – and their greatest weakness.

Within hours of abusing his digital diary’s predictions, Yukiteru is cornered by a crazed classmate. Yuno – who is obsessively stalking him with her own psychic cell phone – is cute, sharp, and great with an ax. Still, her psychosis hides a vile secret. Rumour: Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 2 Moved into Next Year

With the release of Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 1 delayed until the 28th December 2015 its only logical that its distributor, KAZE via MangaUK, would push back the release of Part 2 and while official confirmation has yet to be received some retailers have opted to change their listings; with Anime-On-Line leading the way. Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 1 Delayed Until December

In relatively unsurprising news Manga Entertainment UK have today confirmed that the UK Release of Mirai Nikki: Future Diary – Part 1 has been delayed until the 28th December 2015.

An explanation as to why the title has been delayed was not mentioned, but considering it is a KAZE Release then it could be as simple as stock not arriving on time for the release date; which for this particular title was the 16th November 2015. Read more of this post

The Future Diary To Be Released into UK via Kaze Entertainment

In a recent interview with Jcuri Andrew Hewson, the Marketing Manager for Animatsu Entertainment, revealed that The Future Diary, also known as Mirai Nikki: Future Diary, will be released into the UK via Kaze later this year.

The series will be released as two half-season-sets, just like it was in America, and will be available on both DVD and Blu-ray. Release date details have still yet to be confirmed; but we can expect Part 1, which will contain the first 13 episodes, sometime during the fourth quarter of 2015. Read more of this post
