We have heard very little of ‘anime related’ guest announcements for this year May MCM London Comic Con event but today Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have announced that Shouji Gatou, the author of the original Full Metal Panic! light novel series, will be attending the event on both Saturday 26th May 2018 and Sunday 27th May 2018. ReedPOP, the world’s largest producer of pop culture events across the world, has announced that they have acquired the MCM Comic Con brand within the UK. The acquisition by ReedPOP, a boutique group within Reed Exhibitions, part of RELX Group, of MCM will take effect immediately and its impact will begin to be seen and felt on all 2018 events.
