Manga UK Releases “Journey To Comic-Con” Recap Videos

You may remember during the “build-up” to the London MCM Comic Con (October 2013) that Manga Entertainment UK were promoting a new mini-video series about their “journey” at the event. Well over the past few weeks those videos have been published and are now available for our viewing pleasure on the Manga UK Youtube Channel.

If you have ever considered going to a MCM Expo within the UK, then these two videos provide an interesting insight into what you can expect from the events next year, as well as what you missed this year.

It’s unclear if anymore videos related to the Comic-Con Expo will be released, but if they are then they will be available on the Manga UK Youtube Channel.

UK Release of Persona 4: The Animation Gets New Details Revealed in Latest Podcast

New Details for the ‘upcoming’ UK Blu-ray and DVD release of Persona 4: The Animation have been recently revealed in Manga Entertainment UK’s latest podcast.

According to the podcast, which features Manga UK’s Head of Marketing & Acquisitions Jerome Mazandarani, he confirms that the UK Release of Persona 4: The Animation will be released in three seperate Blu-ray / DVD Combo Packs, with each pack having an estimated Retail price of £29.99. Volume 1 will be released on the 24th December 2012 and will feature 9 Episodes over two DVD’s and one Blu-ray Disc, while Volume 2 and Volume 3 will be released in the same style during Mid 2013.

Fullmetal Alchemist Blu-ray Movie Double Pack Delayed Until December

Manga Entertainment UK have today confirmed that the Blu-ray Movie Double Pack, which features both Fullmetal Alchemist – The Conqueror of Shamballa and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – Sacred Star Of Milos on Blu-ray has been delayed until December 2012.

According to MangaUK’s Twitter account the reason for the delay is due to a production issue with the Conquerer Of Shamballa Blu-Ray, thus the whole boxset has been pushed back until December, so that the problem can be resolved.

FYI: The Blu-Ray version of the Fullmetal Alchemist movie double pack has been delayed until December. This is due to a production issue with the Conquerer Of Shamballa Blu-Ray specifically. The DVD version of the double pack and the individual DVD and Blu-Ray of Sacred Star Of Milos are unaffected and are still set for release on September 3rd. ^JG

This means that in December 2012, Manga Entertainment UK will be releasing Fullmetal Alchemist – The Conquerer Of Shamballa as a standalone disc and as a Movie Double Pack at the same time.

The Release of the DVD Movie Double Pack and the single Blu-ray release of Sacred Star Of Milos have been unaffected and will still be released on the 3rd September 2012 within the UK.
