Synopsis:

The traditional school Otonokizaka High is situated between the three towns of Akihabara, Kanda, and Jimbocho. This school is also in imminent danger of closing. Because of this crisis, the second-year student Honoka Kosaka takes center stage with eight others to do something about it!

MVM’s Release of Love Live – Season 1 and No Game No Life Receive a Short Delay

It seems we have a full house on UK Anime Distributors confirming delays to their release schedule ; as after todays earlier news of Animatsu, Manga and Anime Limited titles being pushed back MVM Entertainment have announced (albeit in the early hours of this morning) that their releases of Love Live – Season 1 and No Game No Life have received release date alterations. MVM’s DVD Release of Love Live! – Season 1 Delayed Until August

Although MVM Entertainment have yet to make an official announcement it seems the UK DVD release of Love Live! – Season 1 has been pushed back to the 17th August 2015; that is according to their own online store Anime-On-Line.

Previously MVM Entertainment announced Love live! – Season 1 for a mid-july release, as seen in our MCM Expo coverage, but for some reason the distributor has opted to hold it back until the middle of August. As mentioned no clarification has been given; however the online listing has been updated to say that this ‘DVD version’ will be a premium edition release with bonus content; which is sure to please Love Live! fans out there. MVM Entertainment Announcements at London MCM Comic Con May 2015

With Animatsu, Anime Limited and Manga Entertainment UK opting to announce their new titles through Industry Panels throughout the Comic Con weekend MVM Entertainment UK opted to take a different approach and announce their new titles through social media – which ultimately led to some confusion and disappointment.

As it stands MVM Entertainment only have three anime titles heading out for the Q3, and potentially Q4, release window; however amongst (we assume) some criticism the distributor announced that they had signed another seventeen titles for release next year – which is quite an impressive amount.
