Kix TV is currently broadcasting Dinosaur King within the UK; Series Starts from the Beginning on Monday

If you are a long-time-viewer of Kix TV then this article will seem like old news; but Kix TV are currently broadcasting episodes of Dinosaur King every afternoon from 4pm.

So why are you telling me now? you might be wondering; well to start off with we didn’t know that they were showing Dinosaur King, which is an anime based upon a SEGA game that sees Dinosaurs brought to life with cards; but luckily for us Kix TV will be starting from the very beginning on Monday 13th April. CITV to Broadcast Pokemon XY: The Movie – Diance and The Cocoon of Destruction This Easter Bank Holiday

It’s been revealed, via TV listings on Sky, that CITV will be broadcasting the seventeenth Pokemon movie, known as Pokemon XY: The Movie – Diance and The Cocoon of Destruction, as part of their Easter Bank-Holiday Weekend celebrations.

The film, which will be aired at 9:35am on Saturday 4th April 2015 on CITV (Sky Channel 621, Freeview Channel 122) and then repeated on Monday 6th April at 1.55pm, is the first film based upon the Pokemon XY series; furthermore it is also the first Pokemon XY film to be broadcast on UK TV. One Piece: Movie 8 Blu-ray Listed for January 2015 Release

An individual Blu-ray, and DVD, listing for One Piece: Movie 8 – Adventures in Alabasta has recently appeared on Anime-On-Line with a release date of 5th January 2015; thus suggesting that Manga Entertainment UK will be releasing the film on it’s own as originally mentioned several months ago.

When Manga Entertainment UK announced that they had acquired the distribution rights to all nine original One Piece Movies it was explained that they would be released in three collection sets, with 3 movies per set – something which has recently been achieved. In addition to this the eighth One Piece movie, The Desert Princess and the Pirates – Adventures in Alabasta, would be getting its own stand-a-lone DVD (and possibly Blu-ray) just like it did in America. UK Cinema Screenings for Akira’s 25th Anniversary Confirmed

It has been recently confirmed that the 25th Anniversary UK Cinema Screenings for Akira will be shown in Picture House Cinema’s across the UK, with the film being shown on the 13th July 2013.

Judging from the Cinema listings on the Picture House website, the film will only be shown ‘once’ at each cinema, so its probably worth pre-booking the tickets. For those unaware of what Akira is, then here is a quick Synopsis of the film.

Neo-Tokyo is about to E.X.P.L.O.D.E. Katsuhiro Otomo’s debut animated feature AKIRA had its Japanese premiere on 16th July 1988. We are very proud to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of what is undoubtedly, one of the most celebrated animated movies of all time. Voted by Empire readers as one of the top 100 best films ever and cited by everyone from James Cameron, Ridley Scott, Daft Punk and Kanye West as a massive influence on their work, AKIRA kick-started the anime business all over the world, opening the doors for everything from Pokémon to Princess Mononoke.
