Do you like Karnevals? or maybe even the Circus? Well if you like either of those then this Anime release of Karneval may interested you; but don’t be fooled by its title as it’s not all clowning around in the Circus; so what exactly is Karneval and what did we think of this Blu-ray release by Manga Entertainment? Synopsis:

Circus is a super-powered security force of entertainers who keep villains off the streets by serving up justice with a side of razzle-dazzle. Despite their best efforts, a sinister organization named Kafka is gaining power throughout the world using grotesque monsters to carry out their plots. When Circus saves a mysterious boy from Kafka’s grasp, the kid gets swept up in the crime-fighting spectacle – but why was Kafka after him in the first place?

Manga Entertainment UK’s Entire Q3 Release Line-Up Outed by Anime-On-Line

It looks like someone jumped the gun at the Anime-On-Line Website as all of Manga Entertainment UK’s Q3 / Third Quarter release line-up has been revealed, and more importantly they are all available to pre-order.

All of the titles listed below have previously been announced before, so there is no ‘surprises’ in store, however its assumed that these release dates would have been revealed at the upcoming London MCM Comic-Con.

Manga Entertainment’s Manchester MCM Comic-Con 2013 Anime Announcements

For the first time Manga Entertainment UK hosted a podcast recording at the Manchester MCM Comic-Con (previously known as MCM Expo) and with it they announced a slew of new anime acquisitions as well as release windows for previously confirmed titles, such as K-On! The Movie.

New anime acquisitions include Sengoku Basara – The Last Party, Eureka Seven AO, Blood-C: The Last Dark, Fairy Tail – The Movie and Karneval, while confirmed release windows for K-On! The Movie, Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trial and Guilty Crown were also announced.

2013:

28th October:  K-On! The Movie (DVD & DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack)
4th November: Black Lagoon Roberta’s Blood Trial (DVD & Blu-ray via Kaze)
18th November: Guilty Crown – Part 1 (DVD & Blu-ray)
2nd December: Fairy Tail – Part 5 (DVD)

2014:

Q1: Blood-C: The Last Dark (format TBC)
Q1: Eureka Seven AQ – Part 1 (format TBC)

More details surrounding each of these releases will be unveiled later in the year, and most likely at the London MCM Comic-Con which takes place in October. Personally i’m excited to see the Sengoku Basara Movie, as the series is highly underrated, as well as the conclusion to the Blood-C franchise in the form of The Last Dark.
