Fairy Tail Movie and Jormungand Season 1 Delayed Until July

fairy_tail_phoenix_priestess_movie_screenshot00

If you have yet to listen to the latest Manga UK podcast then you’ll be disappointed to learn that the UK Release of Fairy Tail: The Movie – Phoenix Priestess and Jormungand Season 1 have been pushed back until July 2014.

The news of these delays comes directly from the new podcast, whereby hosts Jeremy Graves confirms that Both titles have been delayed due to Manga Entertainment UK not receiving the assets for these particular titles.  Once these arrive then both titles will be able to be released as normal.

In the meantime both titles have received new release dates, with Fairy Tail: The Movie – Phoenix Priestess now being released on the 28th July 2014, as opposed to it’s original 21st April 2014 release date, while Jormungand Season 1 will be released on the 21st July 2014. Both titles will be available on DVD and Blu-ray.

Interestingly it’s Fairy Tail which suffers the biggest delay, however since the film takes place after the events of the currently released episodes it is probably for the better.
