After several months of delays the UK re-release of High School DxD BoRN, otherwise known as Season 3 of the franchise, had arrived but sadly that news is short lived as Manga Entertainment UK have now issued a product recall for both DVD and Blu-Ray versions of the series. Read more of this post

Although COVID-19 is having an effect on new releases being physically released into the UK market, of which additional release dates have been made, it doesn’t stop Manga Entertainment UK from announcing a slew of new titles as today the distributor-come-publisher have announced their Q3 2020 release schedule and it includes a wide-variety of requested titles as well as some newcomers. Ever since Highschool DxD was announced for UK Release i’ve been warned to prepare for bloody nosebleeds, fortunately that didn’t happen BUT you can expect a lot of ‘mature’ content within the series. That aside what did we think of this Blu-ray release by Manga Entertainment UK? Well lets find out in our Blu-ray Review of Highschool DxD
Synopsis:
A war between heaven and hell is raging on Earth – and a hot mess of hormonal fury is raging in Issei’s pants. The guy is dying to get some action. Which is funny, since his first date ever turns into a winged monster and tries to kill him. Fortunately, ridiculously curvy redhead Rias comes to his rescue. She’s president of The Occult Research Club, a club that doesn’t actually research the occult. They ARE the occult – and Rias is a Devil.
Rias takes Issei as a more-than-willing slave and begins training him to use magic in battle against the Fallen Angels, the long-time enemies of Devils everywhere. If Issei can improve his mystical skills, he’ll be able to help his hotter-than-hell master and her scorching supernatural schoolgirl friends defeat their foes. Earlier in the week a variety of new Anime Licenses for UK Distribution were unveiled, some were revealed in the latest Issue of NEO Magazine (on sale now) while others were revealed in the latest, Christmas themed, Manga UK podcast.
Interestingly some of the titles have already been announced, but majority of them are brand new announcements – so it seems that 2014 will be a great year for anime fans, but what exactly can we expect – well lets take a look:

Majority of the anime listed above will most likely be released during the second half of 2014, especially for Manga Entertainment’s list of titles, as the distributor is already releasing a ton of anime during the first two quarters of 2014 – including Blu-ray versions of Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online and Magi as well as DVD releases of Dragon Ball GT, One Piece and Naruto.
MVM Entertainment have yet to unveil a list of their 2014 anime, but they will be releasing a variety of anime within the next few weeks including Hakuoki, Infinite Stratos and Is This a Zombie of the Dead – all of which will only be released on DVD.
