Manga UK Q3 2018 Release Schedule Announced; New Title Licenses Confirmed

Usually Manga Entertainment UK would reveal new titles and confirm their upcoming release schedule at the MCM London Comic Con, of which takes place towards the end of the month, but this year the distributor have opted to announce everything due to be released between June and September in one long announcement.

Following on from the news that Kinmoza – Season 2 had been deleyed until 2nd July 2018, and that the Blu-Ray Edition of Soul Eater! still remains indefinitely delayed, UK distributor Manga Entertainment UK have now recently provided updates for Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto and Yo-Kai Watch!

Manga UK License Occultic Nine & Dragon Ball Z TV Specials; Q2 2018 Schedule Announced

Following on from the license acquistion announcement for the Netflix Original Film BLAME! the UK Anime Distributor Manga Entertainment UK have now announced that they have also acquired the Blu-Ray and DVD distribution rights to Occultic Nine and the Dragon Ball Z TV Specials Collection which consists of ‘Dragon Ball Z: History of Trunks’ and ‘Dragon Ball Z: Bardock the Father of Goku’. Alongside these new title announcements the distributor went on to reveal their Q2 2018 release schedule.

Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto Release Pushed Back By One Week

We caught this news ‘a little bit’ late but Manga Entertainment UK have announced that their upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto has been pushed back by one week until the 27th November 2017.

Manga Entertainment’s Q4 2017 Line-Up Reveals a Few Interesting Surprises; Including Soul Eater & JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure!

It seems like Manga Entertainment, and in turn Animatsu Entertainment, have been quietly working behind the scenes with online retailers to get new products listed for pre-order as during the course of the weekend their entire fourth quarter release line-up has appeared online for pre-order; with it unveiling a few surprises and previously unannouncement titles.

Animatsu and MangaUK Industry Panel Announcements from MCM London Comic Con May 2016

It seems Animatsu and Manga Entertainment UK were ‘slumming it’ in the Bronze Theatre at the MCM London Comic Con this month as not only was a table not provided for them but the audio equipment didn’t seem to work either; which resulted in not many ‘cheers’ from the crowd despite some interesting announcements being made; including the confirmation that Digimon will be making it’s return to the UK on DVD.

Ignoring the sound quality issues Fraser, Andrew and Jerome provided a solid presentation with a line-up of new announcements accompanied with trailers (all of which you shall see in our video of the panel). Unfortunately however not all licenses were announced and nor were all of the details revealed; so expect more information and announcements from MangaUK and Animatsu Entertainment in the coming weeks!
