Gundam Reconguista in G To Be Released as a Complete Series Blu-ray

When Anime Limited first announced the release of Gundam Reconguista in G, otherwise known as Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam Reconguista in G, many retailers incorrectly listed the product as a Complete Series collection and since then it has never been amended (despite the distributor claiming that it would be released in two parts). Well as part of yesterday’s newswire the distributor revealed that it will now be able to release Gundam Reconguista in G as a Complete Series Blu-ray set and better yet it will receive that ‘special’ treatment like previous Mobile Suit Gundam releases. Game Review: Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Force (PS Vita)

It’s been several years since Bandai Namco Entertainment released a dedicated Mobile Suit Gundam game, that is if you exclude the immensely enjoyable Dynasty Warriors Gundam titles, and now the publisher is attempting to bring the franchise back to European shores with it’s PS Vita release of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Force. So is this a smart move? or should Bandai Namco Entertainment have published a different Gundam game to the west? Well lets take a look! Read more of this post

Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy Streaming for Free On GundamInfo Youtube Channel

Over the past few years the GundamInfo Youtube Channel has always been a great place to watch legal free streams of Gundam related content, such as promotional trailers and previews of upcoming anime shows of films; but in recent years the channel has been uploading entire seasons of Gundam, all of which are available in Japanese or Japanese in English Subtitles.

Well as of late the GundamInfo Youtube Channel has uploaded the original Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy onto their channel; a selection of films which retell the events of the original 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam anime series with reworked animation and fight sequences. The good news is that it allows newcomers to the Gundam franchise to experience a classic series; the downside however is that they are not presented in High Definition and their streaming quality is maxed at 480p; but its a small price to pay for wanting to experience some classic Gundam action. Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force European Release Date Announced

It’s been a long time coming, and an announcement I have personally been waiting for; but publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have today announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force will be released onto the PS Vita from the 12th July 2016.

The good news is that the game, which was initally released as a Japanese arcade game before being ported to playstation devices, will feature all previously released DLC Content in the game; the bad news however is that it will only be released as a digital download on the Playstation Network store. No pricing has been mentioned; but we can expect a £34.99 price tag. Read more of this post

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin Panel from MCM London Comic Con May 2016

One of the highlights of the MCM London Comic Con May 2016 was that SUNRISE, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Oirigin, Producer Osamu Taniguchi and Mechanical Designer for SUNRISE Mika Akitaka would be the anime guest of honour and be hosting their own panel at the event.

This panel, which saw the European Premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Oirigin – Episode III take place along, also featured an hour-long-segment which saw both Osamu Taniguchi and Mika Akitaka provide insight into the world of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, the process of creating the animation itself and what the future has in-store for the Origin series. For Gundam fans, such as myself, it was an insightful look into the world of one of the oldest anime franchises to date and if you somehow managed to miss this panel you can see it all (excluding the film of course) in our video below. What expected to be a rather quiet weekend MCM Comic-Con Glasgow turned into a world of excitement for anime fans; as Anime Limited took to the stage as part of a panel to reveal a small selection of new anime licenses and some surprises for those attending MCM London next month.

For starters Anime Limited revealed that they have secured the UK Distribution licenses to The Rolling Girls, Assassination Classroom and K: Missing Kings with each title expected for release next year on DVD and Blu-ray. Anime Limited Store To Distribute Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origins Within UK

Anime Limited have today announced that they will be acting as the UK Distributor for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origins, or more precisely Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origins – Volume 1: Blue Eyed Casval.

Unfortunately this is where it gets complicated; unlike traditional releases Anime Limited will not be distributing the film into UK retailers, such as Amazon, Zavvi and HMV; instead fans will have to buy it directly from the Anime Limited Store. The reason for this is because Anime Limited will be distributing the Limited Edition Japanese Blu-ray release of the film; a film which will not only feature both English and Japanese audio options but will be completely region free as well. Gundam: Reconguista in G Coming to Animax UK This Week

Animax UK continues to ‘expand’ it’s streaming line-up as today the subscription-based streaming service have announced that they will shortly be adding Gundam: Reconguista in G, the latest instalment into the long-running Gundam franchise, as part of it’s service.

The seven existing episodes of the series will be available at to Stream for Animax UK subscribers from the 15th November 2014, at which point each week a new episode will be added to service as part of their simulcast streaming agreement. While the previous seven episodes will remain ‘restricted’ to just Animax UK subscribers it’s expected that new episodes will be available for non-subscribers to view that particular week; although this has yet to be clarified.

Interestingly Animax UK isn’t the only place to watch Gundam: Reconguista in G as at the moment as Anime Limited, via their Vimeo on Demand Channel, are allowing people to purchase the entire series as a digital download while Viewster are allowing UK viewers to watch the episodes on their streaming service.

Gundam: Reconguista in G will be available on Animax UK from the 15th November 2014, with a new episode added to the service each week afteer it airs in Japan.
