Nintendo eShop Offering Two Episodes of Attack on Titan for FREE

To celebrate the announcement of Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains being released onto the Nintendo 3DS within the UK, Europe and America later this year the Nintendo eShop is currently offering the first two episodes of the anime for free.

As of yesterday, Thursday 2nd April 2015, and until the 2nd July 2015, anyone with access to the Nintendo eShop within the UK, Europe and America can watch the first two episodes of the anime. Interestingly not only is the anime presented uncut, which is a surprise considering its violent and brutal nature, but its being presented in Japanese with English Subtitles – which may cause some annoyances when viewed on smaller devices; but at least the translation is better than those on the UK Blu-ray sets. Viewster Expands Anime Content with Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Oreimo and Much More

If you’ve been looking for some ‘free’ legal anime then Viewster is probably worth checking out, as in the past few weeks the US Based streaming site have begun to show a variety of anime titles including the ever popular Monogatari franchise (Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari) and the comical Oreimo.

This is ‘in addition’ to the limited anime content that they had previously, such as Dance in the Vampire Bund, Strike Witches Season 2 and Ouran Highschool Host Club. All of the Anime is available in Japanese with English subtitles, or in English (where available), but more importantly they are free to watch and do not requrie a subscription (although adverts do appear at regular intervals).

As it currently stands Viewstar has sixteen different anime titles to stream from, with more being added in the coming weeks; so if you are looking for English Dubbed anime then viewster is definately worth checking out. Alternatively if you are looking for ‘new’ anime then their are also a variety of other services to choose from, such as Animax UK, Crunchyroll and Wakanim.
